www.gateway.ga.gov is the official Georgia Gateway website for Georgia’s new eligibility determination system for various social benefit programs including Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP or Food Stamps), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Women Infants and Children (WIC), and Child Care and Parent Services.
Georgia Gateway is Georgia’s new online benefits portal that allows Georgia residents to complete various tasks pertaining to their social benefit program including renewing their benefits. But you must login Georgia Gateway account in order to renew your benefits.
Georgia Gateway Login
- In order to log in to your Georgia Gateway account to renew your benefits, visit the Georgia Gateway website at www.gateway.ga.gov.
- On the Georgia Gateway website, you will see a section on the right side of the page that says, “Gateway Login.”
- Input your Georgia Gateway Login Information (User ID and Password ) into the Login box.
- Click the Login button to be redirected to the Georgia Gateway Confidentiality Agreement. Please read the terms and click the “I Accept” button to proceed to your Gateway account.
- Once you consent to the terms, then you will automatically be taken to your Georgia Gateway account dashboard and from there, you can proceed with renewing your benefits.

Provided you are receiving financial assistance in the state of Georgia, you are allowed to use the Georgia Gateway website to renew your benefits for any of the following Social Benefit Programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Food Stamps.
- Women Infants and Children (WIC).
- Medicaid.
- Child Care and Parent Services.
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Before we proceed to the www.gateway.ga.gov benefits renewal instructions, you will need to provide the following information, as it’s required in order to submit your renewal for benefits online. they include:
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Name, Date of Birth and SSN of each Household Member
- School Name, Graduation Date and Status of any Household Member enrolled in Higher Education
- Legal Convictions pertaining to Food Stamps for every Household Member
- Medical Expenses for any Elderly or Disabled Household Member
- Resources for every Household Member (cash, bank accounts, retirement, etc.)
- Tax Return Deductions for your Household
- Employment status or changes for any Household Member
- Dependent Care Costs (must have proof is monthly amount is over $200)
- Monthly Shelter Costs for your Household
- Child Support Payments (if applicable, you must have proof for past 3 months of payments)
- Total Gross Monthly Income for your Household
Once you have all the information listed above, you can begin the Georgia food stamp benefits renewal process by following the instructions below.
1. Visit www.gateway.ga.gov benefits renewal homepage. You can follow the Georgia Gateway Login instructions above in order to be logged in to your Georgia Gateway account and go to your Gateway account homepage.
2. Move over to the “My Applications” Section you will see any current renewals for benefits that are in progress or have been submitted will be displayed in the “My Applications” section of your account. If you have a renewal in progress, open your application and complete your renewal form.
3. Go to your Benefits Information in case you start a new benefits renewal, find your Benefits Information in your Georgia Gateway account and click on the benefit you wish to renew.
4. Proceed to “Renew my Benefits” located under your Benefit Information, by clicking on the “Renew my Benefit” link.
5. Now complete the Renewal Form by filling out the Benefit Renewal Form with all required information as atated above.
6. Once done, filling the form with all required information, submit your renewal online for processing. However, you can check the status of your renewal in the “My Applications” section of your Gateway account.
NOTE: It’s only the head of the household that can be able to submit a renewal for benefits in Georgia.
